Cribbage

Cribbage is a card game for two to four players, in which the objective is to play so that the value of one's cards played reaches exactly 15 or 31.

Scholarly Scoop - Humanity at the Precipice

Technological advancements that have made modern civilization possible have brought about a quality of life unsurpassed in human history; they have also brought about new risks that threaten the very existence of humanity.  In this talk, major risks to humanity will be discussed with a particular focus on the existential threats for which humanity is a principal cause: nuclear war, climate change, pandemic disease, and artificial intelligence.  What is being done to prevent these threats from occurring?

Learn to Play Sheepshead

Sheepshead, or Schafkopf in German, is an old game that originated in Middle Europe in the mid to late 1700's. The game was developed by peasants who were fed up with their government and expressed their discontent by giving the King Card a lower rank.

Stretch & Tone

Led by Amy Gallagher, this 45 minute class will use light weights and bands to increase tone and flexibility. No need to sign up. Just show up for the class and pay the instructor directly. Correct change is appreciated.
