The City of Monona will receive sealed hard copy Bids for the Community Center building renovation until 1:00 PM Friday, April 7th, 2023 at which time, all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids should be mailed or delivered to the Monona City Hall, 5211 Schluter Road, Monona, WI 53716.

This project will be bid as a Single Prime Contract. The project consists of remodeling portions of the Monona Community Center building at 1011 Nichols Road. The project has been broken into 8 individual scope items. The base bid will cover the first scope item and each additional scope item will be bid as an add-alternate. Bidders shall provide a bid for all scope items. The Work for which bids are requested includes the following: Limited demolition of existing CMU partitions, Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical work, Metal stud framing, drywall, painting and staining, custom casework/millwork, wood doors and hardware, rubber flooring, steel fabrications for a new staircase, and other miscellaneous items.

Bidding Documents may be reviewed at the Monona City Hall, 5211 Schluter Road, Monona, WI 53716 during regular business hours.

There will be two pre-bid walk-throughs held at the project address on March 21st and March 24th at 1:00 PM at 1011 Nichols Road

The City of Monona reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids (consisting of up to: 60 days for issuance of Notice of Award; 15 days for Contractor to return signed agreements, and insurance; and 10 days for Village execution of agreement).

Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
