Property Assessment Information

City of Monona Public Notice

ASSESSMENT LETTERS WILL BE MAILED TO ALL RESIDENTS, REGARDLESS OF CHANGE (OR NO CHANGE) IN THEIR ASSESSMENT, TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE OPEN BOOK, AROUND APRIL 19, 2021.  THE ASSESSMENT ROLL WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW IN CITY HALL BY THAT DATE

 

Board of Review meeting dates have been set with the City's assessor, Accurate Appraisal, as follows:

 

OPEN BOOK, where residents may meet ***VIA TELEPHONE*** with an Assessor: 

Monday, MAY 3  12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, MAY 4  9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

OPEN BOOK, where residents may meet ***IN PERSON*** with an Assessor at City Hall:

Monday, MAY 3           5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Masks are required and social distancing will be strictly enforced.

 

Property owners should follow the instructions on their assessment letter to set up an appointment.

 

BOARD OF REVIEW, a quasi-judicial hearing if a resident is not satisfied at Open Book:

Library Municipal Room, Tuesday, JUNE 8        6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. (at least)

Masks are required and social distancing will be strictly enforced.


Property owners can pick up information on appearing at the Board of Review after their Open Book appointment and schedule a time slot with the Clerk.  More information can be found at the Department of Revenue at:  revenue.wi.gov.  Search for "Board of Review".
