Youth Scholarship Program

Monona Parks and Recreation is proud to offer a scholarship program. The program is designed for children who, without financial assistance, would not have the opportunity to participate in the Department’s youth activities. This will help make programs more accessible by partially covering the cost of current registration fees for youth who qualify.

What type of assistance will I receive?
Approved applicants will need to pay half of the program cost. The maximum funding per household is $150.00 per year.  Eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis.  Applicants will be notified by mail or phone of their funding status.  The application will be processed within two weeks.  All financial aid forms will be kept confidential.

What programs are eligible?
Group youth programs or recreational sport activities offered by Monona Parks and Recreation Department are eligible.
