Park & Open Space Plan

Background

The City of Monona Parks and Open Space Plan is a document that will guide the department's efforts to develop parks and open spaces as well as enhance and expand recreation programs throughout Monona. The plan focuses on parks, trails, sports fields, recreation facilities, conservation and wildlife habitat. It reflects the community's vision and lays out a five-year road map to meet the park and recreation needs of the community. 

The 2021-2026 Parks & Open Space Plan was was approved by City Council on 4/4/2022
