Services & Times

Monona is served by a municipal judge, a court clerk, and the assistant city attorney. Monona's Municipal Court is held the first and third Tuesday of each month, with a few exceptions for holidays and other conflicts. Juvenile Court is held the first and third Wednesday of each month, again with some exceptions.

Municipal Court

Location:  Municipal Room of the Monona Public Library,  1000 Nichols Road
Days:  1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month
Time:  4:00 p.m.

Juvenile Court

Location:  Monona City Hall, 5211 Schluter Road
Days:   Wednesdays following the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month
Time:  4:30 p.m.

Mission

The mission of the Monona Municipal Court is to provide adjudication of municipal citations in a prompt, fair, knowledgeable and respectful manner. The court recognizes the interest of defendants in receiving fair treatment and due process of law. The court shall remain independent and objective, but recognize its role in the community and promotes a understanding of the court, as well as the role of the judicial function
