Who We Are
Monona Community Media is a dynamic organization encompassing both a low-power radio station and a community access television channel. Monona Community Media provides media coverage of Monona Grove High School and city events, while offering a variety of local radio programs and unique video segments.
Through a strong partnership with the Monona Grove School District, Monona Community Media enriches the lives of high school students by leading the high school AV Club, which in turn serves the Monona community through the recording of many high school events that stream online (YouTube Channel) and broadcast on our cable television channels and radio station. In addition, students have the opportunity to apply for a position within the City of Monona as a Media Technician. This position records City Council, Plan Commission, Monona Grove School Board meetings and other city and school district events. These opportunities offer students paid work experience in the media field while in high school.
Monona's Community Television Channels are Public Access, Education and Government television channels. Monona's Low-Power FM Radio Station is located at 98.7FM and on the internet at www.WVMO.fm.
