Support Groups

Veterans Support Group

If you are a veteran, please consider joining this social and educational veterans group. The group will meet at the Monona Senior Center once a month on the second Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.

We will offer the camaraderie of being with your fellow veterans, plus education on veterans benefits and information on the services at your VA Hospital. The Madison Vet Center will coordinate the veterans group and help with bringing in County Veteran Services Offices as well as other benefits specialists. Refreshments will be provided. Low Vision Support Group

The Monona Senior Center Low Vision Support Group has been offering socialization with others who have visual impairments as well as information on treatments, research and resources for many years. Call 608-222-3415 to be added to our interest list and you will be given a phone call prior to each meeting to see if you are interested in attending.

Transportation will be provided free of charge for those eligible and lunch is provided through the Senior Dining Program for a donation.
