Public Transportation

Monona has several forms of public transportation for residents and visitors.

Monona Express: Monona Express is a contracted commuter service which makes two loops each morning and two loops each afternoon to take riders to the downtown Madison and UW Campus.

Monona Lift: Monona Lift is a special transportation service for senior citizens or riders with special needs.

Metro Transit: Metro Transit also known as Madison Metro is a public transportation service from the City of Madison, which also makes stops in surrounding communities, including Monona.
