Does Monona have a large-item trash pick up?

Yes, every Monday.  Please call City Hall at 222-2525 to schedule a large-item (furniture, mattresses, refrigerators, etc.) pick up.  The cost is $15 per item.  Charges can be paid in person at Monona City Hall, or, ir you own your property in Monona, charges can be placed directly on your water bill.  Items must be on the curb by 7:00 am Monday.

TVs, computers, and other electronics are considered "e-waste"  and are prohibited by state law from being placed in landfills.  Veolia Environmental will pick up your "e-waste" items for recycling.  There is a separate $25 per item fee for this service, and residents must call  Veolia Environmental directly at (608) 251-7878) to arrange a pick-up.  Dane County also offers a list of organizations which offer computer / TV recycling.  Click here to view this list.
