Monona is divided into three areas for collection of waste and recycling.  Waste is collected once per week.  Recycling is collected once every other week.  Monona's waste and recycling collection provider is Green Valley Disposal.  For specific information about what types of recycling are accepted for pick up, please go to Green Valley's website at www.greenvalleydisposal.com/index.htm.  Household hazardous chemicals can be disposed of through the Dane County Clean Sweep Program.  For more information about this program, please go the Dane County Clean Sweep website at www.danecountycleansweep.com/

TUESDAY COLLECTION - The boundary starts at the canal in Winnequah Park and heads east along Winnequah Road to Maywood Road.  The boundary turns north and follows Maywood to McKenna Road to Dean Avenue.  From this corner, it turns east for two blocks and heads north along Midmoor Road until it reconnects with Winnequah Road to Monona Drive.

WEDNESDAY COLLECTION - The central collection area shares its western border with the Tuesday section.  The southern border follows Owen Road from Winnequah Road to Monona Drive.

THURSDAY COLLECTION - The boundary also begins at the canal and follows Winnequah Road to Owen Road.  From Owen Road it turns east to Monona Drive, and includes all areas to the south and east.
