Planning is currently underway for Phase 2 of the Monona Drive Reconstruction project.  Project Phase 2 emcompasses the stretch of Monona Drive between Winnequah Road and Cottage Grove Road, and construction on this phase is scheduled to begin in 2012.  Final plans are expected to be approved in late summer, 2011.  Plans and documents will be posted as they become available.

The cities of Monona and Madison, along with Dane County, are beginning the design process for the Phase 3 section of Monona Drive.  They have hired Strand Associates, Inc. to help with the design of Phase 3 that spans from Nichols Road/Pflaum Road to Winnequah Road.  Construction is currently scheduled for 2013.  To gather resident and business input into the design that is currently being considered, the cities and the county hosted a public involvement meeting on February 3, 2011.  To watch this presentation, click on the link below.
