Board of Review

The Board of Review receives the assessment roll from the Assessor, then examines and corrects all apparent errors in description or computation and adds all omitted properties.  The Board shall schedule a hearing for each written objection to assessment it receives.  From the evidence presented at the hearing, the Board shall determine whether the Assessor's assessment is correct.  If the assessment is too high of too low, the Board may raise or lower it accordingly.

The Board meets in the City Hall Conference Room annually at any time during the 30-day period beginning on the second Monday in May.
