Located on Nichols Road next to Winnequah Park, the Monona Community Center Center has two levels. The lower level houses the Monona Senior Center and a small meeting room. The upper level houses Parks & Recreation offices, and has an meeting room that seats up to 32 people and a large hall that can accommodate up to 175 people for reception-style functions. The hall is used for large meetings, parties and wedding receptions. The meeting room is used primarily for classes and meetings during the week and for social events on the weekends.

For more information regarding reserving a room at the Community Center, see the rental policies below. To set up an appointment to view the room, see the contact us section at the end of the page. The following rooms are available to rent. Click on the room name for additional information.
Main Hall: (3200 sq. ft.) Our largest room, suitable for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, large parties and meetings for up to 175 people. Bar service is available through the Main Hall.
Lounge: (1100 sq. ft.) This meeting rooms offers a comfortable smaller space for meetings, classes, clubs or civic groups.
Senior Center Hall: (2000 sq. ft.) Located in our lower level, the Senior Center Hall offers a bright, sunny space for showers, parties, groups and classes for up to 75 people.
Monona Room: (225 sq. ft.) Our smallest room is set up as a computer lab and offers a comfortable space for board meetings or small groups up to 20 people.

When can I decorate the room for my wedding/party?
For Saturday events in the Main Hall, you are allowed to decorate anytime on Friday from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and/or Saturday after 8:00 am
When can I make an appointment to view the center?
The Parks & Recreation Department is open Mon-Fri from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm for appointments. It is highly recommended to call in advance to setup a time with a staff member.
