The Monona Community Center was built in 1963 for the purpose of providing a functional meeting facility for the entire community. Extensive renovations in 1993 included cosmetic updates as well as providing for complete accessibility throughout the building.
Located on Nichols Road next to Winnequah Park, the Center has two levels. The lower level houses the Monona Senior Center and a small meeting room. The upper level has a lounge area and a large hall that can accommodate up to 200 people for reception-style functions. The hall is used for large meetings, parties and wedding receptions. The smaller lounge is used primarily for meetings and seminars during the week and for social events on the weekends. For a descriptions and photos of each room, click here.

Room Rental Details
The Monona Community Center offers for rental four different rooms on two levels. Ample parking is available.
Main Hall: (3200 sq. ft.) Our largest room, suitable for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, large parties and meetings. Bar service is available through the Main Hall.
Lounge: (500 sq. ft.) The Lounge offers a comfortable smaller space for meetings, classes, clubs or civic groups.
Senior Center Hall: (2000 sq. ft.) Located in our lower level, the Senior Center Hall offers a bright, sunny space for showers, parties, groups and classes.
Monona Room: (225 sq. ft.) Our smallest room is set up as a computer lab and offers a comfortable space for board meetings or small groups.
