Festivals and Community Events

With tree lined streets, over 120 acres of parks, and a lake, the people in Monona love the outdoors.  Through out the year, many community events bring all of Monona, and friends from other communities outside to celebrate!

 
Memorial Day Weekend signals the start of summer, and Monona starts its summer with the annual Memorial Day Parade.

Another national holiday is reason to celebrate in Monona, as the Monona Community Festival is held near the 4th of July each year.  The event ends with fireworks over Monona's famous Winnequah Park. 

The Summer winds down with the Monona Businessmen Chili cookoff.  Held during a Badger football bye week,  there's no reason to miss the fun and chil!!
