    Come bask in the sun at the Electric Vehicle Expo at Monona Library! Dave Benforado, the MGE Community Services Manager will present on costs and benefits, types, where and how to charge electric cars, plus other incentives and programs. We'll tour a variety of electric vehicles in the library parking lot, and their owners will be on hand to answer questions! This program is targeted to tweens, teens and adults but all are welcome. Door prizes and refreshments will be provided. Sponsored by MGE and Willy St. Co-op.

  3. Movie Night

    Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and loved ones to Bridge Road Park and enjoy a great film under the stars on our inflatable movie screen! A few food carts offering snacks will be available, and beer sales will be provided by Parks and Recreation. The movie will start when it is dark enough outside. This should be at around 8:30pm. -This event is FREE! No tickets needed -You are allowed to bring your own food and beverages -You can bring adult beverages, but no glass containers are allowed

  4. Library Closed - Summer Hours Begin Today

    The Monona Library begins its summer hours today, which means that the library is closed on Sundays until after Labor Day. Sunday hours will resume on Sunday, September 9. The library is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 9 am-8 pm; Thursday and Friday from 9 am-6 pm; and Saturdays from 9 am-5 pm.

    Learn about Electric Vehicles (EVs): costs and benefits, types, where and how to charge them, plus available incentives and programs. See a variety of EVs on display and talk with the owners. Gain a better understanding of what owning and operating an electric vehicle entails. After a short presentation by Dave Benforado, MGE Community Services Manager, we will go out to the library parking lot to see a group of electric vehicles and their owners. Free refreshments and a door prize!
