BABY & TODDLER

See Calendar here. 10:00 am STORYTIME: For ages birth to 6. Flutter in and flutter out of these special drop-in storytime programs! Enjoy books, songs, and fun activities.
10:30 am S.T.E.A.M. For all ages, especially school-age children. STEAM activities designed to work for all ages from toddlers through children age 11. Stations are set up so children can pick and choose the level of activity they want to explore.
CREATIVE MOVEMENT DANCE
Thursday, August 3 to August 17 from 3:30 to 4:00p.m. For children ages 3-5. Younger children may join in with the assistance of an adult. Creative Movement Dance fosters physical and cognitive development through dance, music, drama, props, rhymes, and stories. Creative Movement encourages creativity, basic coordination, body awareness. Space is limited to 45.
Presenter:Sara Rohs has been teaching dance for the past 10 years. Sara recently danced with the Diamond Dancers form the Milwaukee Brewers and the SweatShop Hip Hop Crew out of Madison WI. Sara is the artistic director for the Madison Contemporary Vision Dance Company and director of the Madtown Boys Hip Hop Crew. She teaches dance at A Step Above Dance & Music Academy in Monona.

StoryWalk was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library and the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition.

Raise a reader! The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program is an early literacy reading program which encourages parents and caregivers to provide positive, nurturing early experiences by reading aloud to their children ages birth to age 5.
