  1. Instructor Bio
  2. What to Bring
Hi my name is Amanda Newman and I’m going to be a upcoming senior at Monona Grove High School. I’ve lived in Cottage Grove my whole life and when I was younger I started off playing tennis through the Cottage Grove Recreation Department. I’ve played tennis since I was 8 years old and it has brought me a lot of great opportunities and allowed me to create great friendships as well. When I was younger I was very dedicated towards tennis and worked very hard to be my best. My hard work paid off during my last three high school seasons. My freshman and sophomore years I qualified for individual state and my junior year my doubles partner and I got 7th place at the state tournament. Tennis is a lifelong sport and can’t wait to teach it this summer.
