DISCOVERY CENTER MUSEUM:
SPACE STATIONS IN THE LIBRARY Thursday, July 18 from 4:30 - 5:30pm
Discovery Center Museum brings some of the fun of the Center to the Monona Public Library! Discovery Center staff and Monona teen volunteers will set up Space Stations around the library. Activities may include: map the stars, make a glittering constellation, hop to the planets, navigate a rover, and create a crater. http://www.discoverycentermuseum.org/
Mark was the winner of Guitar Player Magazine's International Competition and has had several appearances in the publication. He's shared the stage with artists like Phil Keaggy, Sister Hazel and Lee Ritenour and his Dueling Banjos video went viral on social media in 2013.
Mark will discuss the workings of the guitar and the techniques and possibilities of the instrument. He incorporates stories, humor, audience participation and Q&A into each presentation and it makes an enjoyable experience for people of all ages.
